NeedleOff 2 detects an inserted syringe, firmly grips the needle and very quickly and automatically twists it off the syringe. The needle is immediately stored in the integrated Sharptainer. NeedleOff 2 includes the new Gripper Cassette 2 with twice the gripping power, which is now compatible with Luer-Lock, Luer-Slip, and NeedleCover syringes, in addition to threaded syringes. NeedleOff 2 features a clear interface to display user instructions and capacity indicators. As only bare needles are stored, the compact Sharptainer offers a surprisingly high needle storage capacity. An electronic protection prevents overfill, further reducing needlestick risk. A full Sharptainer is permanently sealed for safe disposal and can be easily replaced by a new one. Thanks to NeedleOff 2, you can now recycle plastic needle caps, significantly reducing both medical waste volumes as well as incineration emissions.NeedleOff 2 includes the device, a Gripper Cassette 2 and a Sharptainer. If you are looking for an integrated needle safety system, NeedleCover is separately available and works seamlessly with NeedleOff 2.
